1. This is the map of the UK. It's the union of the individual countries of England, Scotland and Wales (called Great Britain) and the northeastern corner of Ireland (Northern Ireland).

Alaska is the largest state of the US and it is located in the northwest extreme of the North American continent (with Canada to the east). 

Hawaii is a chain of islands located about 3,200 km from the continental US, out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
